Michelle Hodkin

Michelle grew up in Florida, went to college in New York, and studied law in Michigan before writing her first novel, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, in 2011. It was a 2011 YALSA Reader’s Choice selection, and the sequel, The Evolution of Mara Dyer, debuted on the New York Times bestseller list when it was published in 2012.

There was The Joss Bird, which my mother lovingly read and reread on demand when I was two.
