A little over a week ago, on Twitter, I shared the aesthetic board for my current work-in-progress (herein called LW). It’s a YA urban fantasy set in Toronto, Ontario. My CP and overall goddess Rebecca Mix encouraged me to do it after hers (deservedly so) got such positive response.
I am so out of my shell, y’all. I’ve never done anything like this before, and to be honest, this is one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. LW is filled with a special kind of magic, and I hope you love it as much as I do.
Here’s the aesthetic board for the project that has been my focus for the last year:
Mack knows when you’ll die with a single touch, and the water she’s battled is at her mercy. When the strangers she touches turn up dead, and the people she loves become targets, it’s all on Mack to stop the murders. After all, she’s at the top of the hit list.
LW has been a labour of love for so many reasons.
This is the project I’ve worked hardest on in my life, and I can’t wait to share more with you. If you’re interested, I’ve also been sharing snippets on #1LineWed. Here are a couple of those:
Leo stared at Deanna until she returned his gaze. “If it keeps you alive, you will bend to the point of breaking.”
It was like watching the most beautiful sunset, wishing it wouldn’t descend so fast. Always, the moment passes too soon.
Have you ever shared anything about your writing? Do you participate in #1LineWed? Have you made an aesthetic board for your WIP? Please share in the comments! I’m always looking for amazing aesthetics to share.
